Stuart has been a photographer for a majority of her life and has recently published a book of her photography.  Choctaw Gardens chronicles her life and that of her son, Grand Ole Opry Star Marty Stuart. Bowles is working on the Blue Spark Awards held on the MTSU campus on April 27. The Blue Spark awards excellency in high school media.
