Jeannie Seely

Jeannie Seely was a guest on the first run of The Justin Reed Show twice - April 23, 2015 (show #102) & January 5, 2017 (show #164) - and was the 125th guest on the show. From the first woman to wear a miniskirt on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry - and has made more performances there than anyone else in history (over 5,300!), the third female to win a Grammy in 1967, Seely was a champion for those that love real country music. "I was blessed to call Seely a friend - and we always enjoyed visiting with each other when our paths crossed! Thank you for believing in what I was doing!" - Justin Reed on learning of her passing at the age of 85 on August 1, 2025.
